When designing the best 4x4 storage solution, we have several options for you.
Drawer system (top left photo)
The drawer systems are great for keeping your valuables hidden and secure. When the tailgate is up and the canopy is open, only the false floor is visible, keeping your precious tools and other items completely out of view from prying eyes.
We build to types of drawer system. The one pictured is our standard drawers for pickups and, as standard, you get one drawer completely open and full length of the bed and the other drawer is divided into three compartments, however you can have any configuration you like. See more drawer systems by clicking here.
Shelving pod (top left photo)
Shelving pods are great for storing smaller items that you don't want to be crawling in the back trying to find. You can have just one shelving pod, or one on each side. They typically sit on top of a drawer system but we can fix them to the inside of the canopy if you aren't looking to install drawers inside a 4x4. Configure your own pickup with storage here.
Agrican and their interchangeable doors (middle photo and bottom right photo)
Our agricultural canopies for pickups are great for anyone looking to house the pickup bed of their vehicle. These aluminium hard tops can have a door with window, a completely solid door or a mesh gate - you can even swap the doors to suit the season. Our agrican canopies are great for carrying livestock and keeping them protected from the weather. We can even fit a flettner (bottom middle photo) to increase ventilation for the warmer months. Different canopy heights (top right photo)
The photo of the black pickup canopy demonstrates one of our farrier canopies at 4" above the cab. The heights available for all types of canopy for 4x4s is flush with the top of the cab, 2" above or 4" above. We are often asked how the height of the cab will affect the fuel efficiency of the vehicle, however feedback from our customers with the taller canopies is that they have noticed very minimal difference, if any at all. Obviously, any taller than 4", and the centre of gravity can be altered which means taking extra care when driving, particularly around corners. Canopy appearance (bottom left and top right photos)
We always ask if you would like your canopy to be chequer plate all over (bottom left photo) or chequer body with smooth doors (top right photo). The reason, apart from aesthetics, for choosing one or the other largely depends on if you intend to add signage to your canopy as this adheres better to smooth aluminium than chequer. Roof bars (bottom left and bottom middle photos)
If you would like to transport items on the roof of your canopy, we often add roof bars to the pickup canopy as pictured. They are usually round but if your prefer square, we can make these at no extra cost. The roof bars are ideal for carrying items up to 100kgs on a Samson canopy or an Agrican canopy. Colour coded paint (top right and middle bottom photo)
If you would like your 4x4 canopy to match the rest of your vehicle, all we need is the colour code of your paint and we can have it painted in an exact colour match for you. We can paint both Samson and Agrican canopies. There is also a powder coat option which coats the inside as well as the outside and for this option, we would need the RAL code. Flettner (bottom middle photo)
The flettner (or spinny thing on the top as we like to call it) helps to ventilate the canopy by circulating the air. They also work particularly well with louvre vents as they draw air through the vent and circulate it around. Ideal if you have animals in the back. We always fit a low profile flettner so you don't have to worry about it getting in the way of things attached to the roof bars.
