Do you have a showroom?
We don’t, however we are more than happy for you to pop in for a chat face to face with our team to discuss what options we have available and what suggestions we have for your pickup needs. We are happy to show you our workshop and canopies that are being built.
What information would you need from me to get an estimate?
Your vehicle make and model, the year of registration and cab size, along with product you require. If you are looking for a bespoke box, we will need the dimensions and a sketch to show the position of the lid/door. Do I need to pay for my order upfront?
Our Samson canopies can be ordered with a £500 deposit to join the build queue, with the full amount due upon fitting or before delivery. All our other items such as Agricans, Linings, Drawer Systems, Ladder Racks, Boxes and Fibreglass Canopies must be paid for in full at the time of order.
Do you offer finance options?
Not yet, however the lead time to build a Samson canopy can be anything from 12 weeks to 18 weeks, this often gives people time to organise the final payment by the time the balance is due.
Do you have a catalogue?

Do you deliver or do I have to come to your workshop?
We can deliver most things, so please provide your post code for an accurate quote. Mobile workshops, utility fit outs and single cabs must be fitted at our workshop in Clitheroe, Lancashire. We may deliver a single cab item, however the lead time will be longer because we cannot send single cab items by courier, due to their size, therefore we have to organise a trip to deliver it ourselves.
Can you fit your products to my vehicle on my premises?
Our fitting option is only at our workshop in Clitheroe, Lancashire.
Is there a difference in smooth or chequer plate aluminium?
Both choices are 3mm thick aluminium and will not affect the price, if you only want the doors to be smooth. If you would like the entire canopy in smooth aluminium, there will be an additional charge of £50+VAT. The chequer plate aluminium is more robust. Smooth aluminium is great for adding signage, so smooth doors and a chequer body is a popular option. We would encourage paint to be added to smooth aluminium because it is more susceptible to scratches.
What is the difference between powder coating and paint?
Powder coating requires dipping the aluminium into the colour, meaning both the inside and outside will be coated in the colour of your choice. Paint can be a generic colour or an exact colour coded match to your vehicle. Paint only coats the outside, leaving the inside in the aluminium finish.
Can Agrican canopies have side doors?
Unfortunately, not. However, our Agrican canopies are designed so the back doors can be interchanged from a solid to a mesh, or vice versa, during the different seasons/weather conditions.
Can I add paint at a later date?
Of course, as long as we haven’t started the final build, you’re more than welcome to add on the option to colour code the canopy. If your canopy has been fitted and has been out in the wild, we are unable to add paint because the aluminium will have been exposed to various weathers and environments.
How much weight will the roof bars hold?
100kg, however the weight needs to be distributed evenly.
How deep are the shelving pods?
Our shelving pods are 400mm deep, however these can be shallower if requested.
I have a fibreglass canopy, can you make me some dog gates?
Yes, as long as you have an aluminium lining or aluminium drawer system in your pickup bed, otherwise there is nothing to fix the dog gates to.
How deep are the leisure drawers?
The depth does differ depending on the pickup make:
Toyota Hilux - Internal depth 165mm
Isuzu/Nissan/Ford - Internal depth 155mm
VW Amarok - Internal depth 200mm
How deep are the heavy-duty drawers?
The Internal depth of our heavy duty drawers is 230mm but this can vary from pickup to pickup.
Can my canopy be fitted onto a different pickup?
Our canopies are designed to fit individual pickups, and even though the measurements may look similar, we would never fit a canopy to a vehicle that it is not meant for. We have heard horror stories about other brands of canopy that have been fitted to the wrong vehicle, causing serious accidents. Some canopies can be fitted to a newer model of the same vehicle make, such as - a canopy for a 2017 Toyota Hilux will fit a 2020 Toyota Hilux. Please give us a call if you are unsure.
Can I get a trade account?
To qualify for a trade account you would need to have been placing regular orders with ourselves over a 6 month period.
