We have been keeping a little secret and now it is finally time to make the announcement! N&J are now manufacturing roof racks for vans! We have acquired a fantastic van roof rack company and have been training hard to get up to speed with the various roof rack products.
We have built an excellent relationship and friendship with the previous family business owners Tony and Roy, and we are delighted that we are able to continue their hard work.
Founder Kevin Bowen, created this wonderful business 55 years ago and retired in 2014. Son and son-in-law continued to manufacture load carrying solutions for vans and now they have made the decision to wind down. Tony and Roy, we wish you all the very best for your retirement, we thank you for the opportunity to acquire your business and we will ensure that the company goes on to to offer the same exceptional workmanship, service and quality that you have always provided.
Nick Buchanan, owner and founder of N&J, discovered that SDV Roof Racks were due to close and he immediately knew he couldn't let that happen. Adding roof racks for vans to our current portfolio of accessories for 4x4 vehicles is a natural step. Our customer base already comprises of many customers with commercial vehicles, so taking on roof racks was a no-brainer.
Though the initial incorporation of SDV Roof Racks comes with a few challenges while we learn the ropes, we are excited to expand our business and look forward to producing top quality and affordable galvanised and powder coated roof racks.
